Printing Services
Standards:
Files should be sent on
Zip (100MB), CD-ROM, or email (5MB limit, larger
hi-resolution files should be transferred on disk,
not through email).
We accept files in Mac
and PC format.
Files are accepted in the
following applications:
Adobe Photoshop®
Adobe Illustrator®
Adobe Pagemaker®
Adobe InDesign®
Adobe Acrobat®
Quark Xpress®
We accept Microsoft files, although many times
they present challenges with format and layout.
If possible, convert your Microsoft file to a
high resolution PDF. This will broaden your production
options and give you a more cost effective solution.
All photos should be in
EPS or TIFF format. Color photos should be saved
in CMYK format and black and white photos should
be saved as grayscale. All photos should be saved
at 300 dpi resolution and should be included on
the disk. Avoid utilizing images used for websites.
They are normally 72 dpi which is great for websites,
but cause distortion problems with printed pieces.
All fonts should be included
on the disk or converted to outlines. Any links
should also be included in the file or on the
CD.
If it is a complex file,
please include an unflattened image.
Please include a mock-up
proof, color preferable, of the file.
We use a default auto
trapping system. Please specify if you use any
custom trapping.
